Dr Neetu Grover
FRACGP, Adv DRANZCOG, MBBS - Principal GPDr Neetu Grover FRACGP, Adv DRANZCOG, MBBS - Principal GP has been providing general medical services for the past 20 years. She lives in Wodonga with her family, raising 3 of her children in the local community and has a passion for Rural General Practice.
Dr Neetu Grover is our Skin Cancer doctor at Elmwood Medical Centre. Dr Grover provides a comprehensive range of skin cancer services including skin cancer checkups, biposies, cancer treatment and general skin health.
Dr Grover speaks various Languages including English, Hindi, Punjabi Urdu. In her spare time, Dr Grover loves listening to music and cooking. She understands the various cultures and traditions of different countries.

All medical staff are highly trained in the field of skin cancer. Our nurses undergo official training in Dermoscopy, and our doctors have additional qualifications in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery.

Skin Services
Most skin cancer can be successfully treated if it is found early. But without treatment, skin cancer can be deadly.
All Australians are encouraged to protect their skin from the damage caused by UV rays of the sun and to get to know your skin. Check all of your skin, not just sun-exposed areas. If you notice anything unusual, including any change in shape, colour or size of a spot, or a new spot, visit your doctor as soon as possible.
It is also advisable to have annual skin checks with your doctor. You can make an appointment with a doctor in Elmwood Medical Centre for a full skin check. Please book a long appointment or advise the staff that this is what the appointment is for.

SKIN CHECKS
A skin check is a full body examination performed by a trained health professional using a dermatoscope. Every lesion on the body is assessed. A treatment plan is discussed at the end of the consultation if necessary.
BIOPSIES
If a suspicious lesion is found, a biopsy may be performed. Under local anaesthetic, a small sample of skin is removed, to be sent to a pathology lab for examination under a microscope. This provides a diagnosis and confirms if a skin lesion is cancerous
CANCER TREATMENT
Most skin cancers can be treated by our doctors at the clinic. All suitable treatment options will be discussed with you. Both surgical and non-surgical treatments are available, depending on the type of skin cancer. All excisions at the clinic are done under local anaesthetic.
GENERAL SKIN HEALTH
In addition to skin cancer management, our doctor also has an interest in all general skin conditions. We believe that proper skin care and management of other dermatological concerns will result in better outcomes.
