Children’s Health

Elmwood Medical Centre has a strong focus on children’s health. We believe early intervention is critical to longer term health and well- being for both physical and mental health.

Elmwood Medical Centre is committed to providing high quality care to our youngest patients. We are 13 years old and it is our pleasure and privilege to have cared for many of our patients since birth.

We bulk bill all our patients and whenever possible we try to ensure that our littlest patients can get an emergency appointment on the same day. Our friendly doctors and nurses will take the time to put your child at ease during normal consultations and for immunisations.

Some of our children’s services include:

  • Immunisations
  • Hearing and sight assessments
  • Developmental checks.
  • General health check up

Elmwood Medical Centre is a mixed-billed clinic. Bulk-billed appointments are available with selected doctors only and will be clearly displayed next to the doctor’s name when booking through HotDoc. All over 70 Years are bulk billed for standard consultation, and those who have paid the first GAP. Additional fees apply for services such as wound dressings, ECGs, skin checks, procedures, and other non-standard consultations. Please speak with our reception team before your appointment if you would like further information about applicable fees.
