Elmwood Medical Centre has a strong focus on children’s health. We believe early intervention is critical to longer term health and well- being for both physical and mental health.
Elmwood Medical Centre is committed to providing high quality care to our youngest patients. We are 13 years old and it is our pleasure and privilege to have cared for many of our patients since birth.
We bulk bill all our patients and whenever possible we try to ensure that our littlest patients can get an emergency appointment on the same day. Our friendly doctors and nurses will take the time to put your child at ease during normal consultations and for immunisations.
Some of our children’s services include:
- Hearing and sight assessments
- Developmental checks.
- General health check up

From 1 Jan 2026, patients under 20 and concession card holders have their first GP consultation each calendar year privately billed ($100 out of pocket). Subsequent standard consultations that calendar year are Bulk Billed (excludes skin checks and procedures). Please confirm fees with reception.
