Mixed Billing Clinic — Clear & Transparent Consultation Fees

Medicare rebates effective 1 July 2026. Privately billed GP consultations have a flat $49 out-of-pocket fee. Eligible concession card holders and patients under 20 years of age have a $100 out-of-pocket fee per calendar year, with subsequent standard visits bulk billed ($0 out of pocket). Patients aged 70+ are bulk billed for standard consultations.

Concession Card Holders & Patients Under 20 Years — Consultation Fees

For Medicare-eligible concession card holders and patients under 20 years of age, the first GP consultation each calendar year (1 January to 31 December) has an out-of-pocket fee of $100.00. All subsequent standard consultations in that same calendar year are Bulk Billed ($0 out of pocket).

Standard consultations are Bulk Billed ($0 out of pocket) throughout the year, including your first appointment. (Skin checks and procedures are excluded).

Skin Checks Have Different Out-of-Pocket Fees

Single-spot and full-body skin checks

Single-spot skin checks and full-body skin checks have different out-of-pocket fees. The standard $49 GP consultation out-of-pocket fee does not apply to these services. Please call our reception team for pricing before booking. Biopsies, procedures, and treatments may follow separate fees.

  • We can lodge your Medicare claim electronically on the spot.
  • Your Medicare rebate is paid directly into your nominated bank account.

Bulk Billed Standard Consultations

All patients aged 70 years and over are Bulk Billed for standard consultations, including your first appointment of the year. No out-of-pocket fee applies.

Department of Veterans’ Affairs Arrangements
  • DVA Gold and White card holders should be on the CVC (Coordinated Veterans’ Care) programme with the practice.
  • Conditions apply for skin checks and procedural services.
  • Excludes iron infusions and non-covered services.
